Biography

In addition to obtaining a master's degree in English language and civilization and numerous stays in the Pacific, the soprano Anne Sophie Petit obtained a singing diploma at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional in Paris then joined Stephan Macleod's class at the Haute École. de Musique de Lausanne, where she obtained a master's degree in solo interpretation.

She perfected at the Royaumont Foundation with Moshe Leiser and Patrice Caurier and the Young Talents of the Philippe Jarrousky Music Academy within the Ravel promotion for the 2019-2020 season.

In Lausanne, she notably performed Sister Constance in the Dialogues des Carmélites, Laurette in Doctor Miracle by Bizet and Susanna in the Marriage of Figaro.

She was able to work as a soloist with conductors such as Leonardo Garcia Alarcon, Frank Beerman, Jesus Lopez Cobos, and Didier Puntos. Most recently, she was solo soprano in Mendelssohn's A Summer Night's Dream with the Lausanne Chamber Orchestra, under the baton of Joshua Weilerstein.

At the Opéra de Lausanne, she is Musetta in La Bohème, La Fée in Cendrillon by Pauline Viardot, and Angélique in Hervé's Knights of the Round Table.

Her recent and upcoming engagements are: the Queen of the Night in a production of Die Zauberflöte directed by Pierre Bleuse in Sion, the roles of Délie and the Second Priestess in Acante and Céphise by Rameau, directed by Alexis Kossenko at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées from Paris, the title role of Little Red Riding Hood at the Opéra de Lausanne, Yniold in Pélleas and Mélisande at the Opéra de Rouen, Le Feu, La Princesse, Rossignol, with the Opéra Studio of L'Opera de Lyon.

She performs regularly as a soloist with the Gli Angeli Genève ensemble, where she sings notably the Mass in C, concert arias by Mozart, and secular cantatas by Rameau at the Oude Muziek Festival in Utrecht (NL).
