Francisco Brito, tenor, was born in Argentina in 1986. From 2011 to 2013 he was a scholarship holder of the arteMusica Foundation. He began his studies in his home country and then continued in Italy at the Accademia d’Arte Lirica di Osimo and at the Scuola dell’Opera Italiana di Bologna, where he specialized in the Rossini repertoire. He made his opera debut in 2006 as Il Conte di Libenskof in Il viaggio a Reims at the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro. Then guest engagements at the Teatro Comunale Mario del Monaco di Treviso (Lindoro in L’Italiana in Algeri), in La scala di seta at Opera Lombardia and at the Teatro Argentino de La Plata in Buenos Aires. 2011-2013 Brito was a member of the opera studio at the Frankfurt Opera. In 2011 he made his house debut in Anna Bolena at the Semperoper Dresden. His most recent appearances include Il Conte di Libenskof at the Zurich Opera House, Lindoro at the Teatro Comunale di Treviso and di Ferrara and Florville (Il signor Bruschino) at the Teatro La Fenice in Venice. In 2016/17 Francisco Brito and others as Lindoro at the Stanislawsky Theater in Moscow, as Jago (Otello) at the Teatro di San Carlo in Naples and as Arturo in Die Puritaner at the Stuttgart Opera.
