During the season 2015/2016, among other, she will sing the role of Princesse in l’Enfant et les sortilèges by Ravel at the Opera of Lausanne with Orchestre National de Lorraine and Soprano Solo II in Missa in C by Mozart with the Chamber Orchestra of Lausanne under the baton of Bertrand de Billy.

 

Biography

Aurélie Jarjaye started music early by learning piano. She gets later her diploma at the Conservatorium of Lyon in 2009. In the meantime, she began singing as member of the young ensemble directed by Lionel Saw in the Maîtrise of Notre­Dame of Paris. She  was admitted in 2010 at the High School of Music of Lausanne in Switzerland, in the singing class of Hiroko Kawamichi. She obtained her Master of Concert in 2015 and the Fritz Bach Award. She followed the master classes with John Fiore, Martin Katz, Heidi Brunner or David Jones.

She got the Price from the Colette Mosetti Foundation, from Casino Barrière of Montreux and the scholarship of Cercle Romand Richard Wagner. She is currently laureate of study award Migros Culture Percentage for the year 2015­2016.

She made her debut at the opera with the role of the The Governess in The Turn of the Screw by Britten under the direction of Aurélien Azan Zielinski and staging by Armand Deladoeythe role of Mrs. Phidias in Phi­, Phi Christiné for Route Lyrique 2014 on a Swiss tour, the Opera of Lausanne and the Opera of Vichy.

In 2017, she will be Dircé in Idoménée de Campra at Theater of Schönbrunn during the French Barok Music Festival of Vienna.

Her concert repertory include the part of soprano soloist in Petite messe solennelle by Rossini, Dvorak's Requiem, Honegger's Roi David or in the  Bottesini’s Requiem at Geneva's Victoria Hall.
